Overview

If you have previously turned off TMS-link, for example because you were offline for a protacted period, you'll need to turn this back on once your situation returns to normal, in order to get Res and EPOS talking to each other again.

There are a few steps required here, in this order:

  1. We need to first get Res into the same state as EPOS (with the tables in the same status on each program) then
  2. We need to re-enable the TMS-link in EPOS

Before you start this process, ensure that no-one will be using neither Res nor EPOS throughout this operation.

Execution

Getting Res to match with EPOS

  1. First, have EPOS open on your table overview, such that you can see your tables in EPOS, whilst you work in Res
  2. Next, in Res, select a table that you need to adjust to match EPOS.
  3. Now press the POS status button on the right-hand side
  4. Next, use the + (plus) button to advance the table through the various stages until you have set it to gone
  5. Rinse and repeat the above steps, until you have Res looking the same as EPOS

Re-enabling the TMS service in EPOS

  1. At the overview screen in EPOS, tap the top-left button, then tap Manager Screen
  2. Next, locate and tap Interface Manager
  3. Now, find the TMSService option under the Interface column
  4. Then, press the Enable button on the far right and Confirm to save the changes
